Foundations of Retirement
Social Security
Figuring out when to take Social Security will play a huge part in planning your retirement income. Your ideal strategy will depend on different factors such as: life expectancy, marital status, and income need. We utilize a program called Social Security Timing®, which can help you determine a strategy to best optimize your Social Security benefits based upon these different factors.
Bob is a certified Social Security advisor with the National Social Security Association.
Investment Income
Your retirement "nest egg" or "milk cow" as we like to call it, needs to produce a stream of income to you in retirement. The key is to make sure that income stream doesn't run out before your breath does! That means your "milk cow" needs to be invested as efficiently as possible, so that what you take out doesn't drain the life out it. Depending on your goals, income needs, risk tolerance, and the importance of leaving an inheritance, we can help you figure out an investment strategy tailored to help you thrive in retirement.
Medicare
"Part A", "Part B", "Part D", "Plan G", "Medicare Supplement" vs. "Medicare Advantage" ... Going on Medicare practically requires its own dictionary! We are here to help you sort through the noise and understand your options for health insurance in retirement including:
- Parts of Medicare (A,B,D) and what they cover
- Costs for each
- Options for supplementing "gaps" in Medicare coverage
Both Bob and Jessie are Medicare insurance licensed to offer you a one-stop shop where you can take care of each aspect of your retirement.
